Pickup are one of the most popular ways that customers can collect their purchases. There are different types of Pickup logistic solutions and several steps in the process. To build a Parcelpoint integration that supports all your customers, take a look at how the journey works.

  1. Customer chooses Parcelpoint store from your checkout, for which they want to pickup their parcel.
  2. Book a parcel with Parcelpoint at the time of fulfillment using the address of the chosen Parcelpoint.
  3. Parcelpoint will notify the customer that their parcel is ready for pickup upon delivery to the Parcelpoint store.
  4. When the parcel has been collected the customer has the option to share feedback about their experience with Parcelpoint.

If the parcel is not collected within 7 days* of delivery to the store, the parcel will be returned to the retailer (*unless otherwise negotiated).

Pickup Freight

Pickup Freight is an end-to-end logistic solution offered by Parcelpoint to which Parcelpoint is the carrier of all articles that are delivered to Parcelpoint locations.

To integrate the Pickup Freight product, the following steps are needed:

  • Display Pickup locations
  • Manifest the parcel
  • Label the parcel
  • Tracking (Optional)

Pickup Address

Pickup Address is a PUDO (Pick-Up, Drop-Off) solution offered by Parcelpoint where you can use your own carrier to deliver articles to Parcelpoint locations.

To integrate the Pickup Address product, the following steps are needed:

  • Display Pickup locations
  • Manifest the parcel
  • Tracking (Optional)
